Masibambane College in Orange Farm township, south of Johannesburg has had along-serving relationship with St John’s College – an upmarkret and world prestigious school in Houghton.
Every year there is an ongoing ‘ritual’, whereby either one of the schools pays a visit to the other in what is called an inter-cultural day. Whilst still keeping with the celebrations of Heritage Month, the children wear their colourful traditional attire and spend the fun-filled day interacting and playing together.
This is what happened at this years event which was hosted St John’s College. Masibambane College has confirmed that they will play host next year.
